1745: Expedition
We’ve made landfall on a new continent, Completely uninhabited. Egypt must engulf it like a morning sun’s light across the earth if it is to maintain its position as top nation.
We have already established a small town called Biblios on a north west corner. It should become a good port for trading.
1680
The Inca, German, Celtic, Chinese and Egyptian empires go to war with Spain.
Lady Isabella’s forces scramble to put up a front against the advancing international army while Egypt has funded both China and Celtica in the form of technology and gold offerings to their royal families.

And then, that very same year

As a single caravel is sent eastward in to the watery horizon, we take a moment to reflect on the current international affairs.

The great ptophet Ananda is born in Thebes. He bears a message from Jesus’ Dad.
It reads “This is a very cool idea, y’all should totally do it” and the rest is parchments with designs similar to the ones shown here

The Great Prophet Mahavila is annointed and rushes to Memphis to fulfill his divine mission: To let the people know that Christ has given a message to his worshipers.
The message was “Pimp My Crib”

Egypt has some self-esteem issues it needs to work out.
Maybe Pharaoh can talk to Germany about his feelings and how he felt about his father…
1060 AD
I’m really starting to think that this whole “Pyramid” thing is really just a way for the Egyptian royals to cope with their ah… “Insecurities”
600 AD
A breakthrough idea was handed to the royal palace by Egypt’s top theologians, In it was a thesis saying that a Pharoah not only ruled because he was royalty, but because God had commanded him to. This lead to a great revision of the sacred texts and a formation of a new religion.
Oh hey, this one’s actually kind of historically accurate!
720 AD
The Pyramids are built in the Egyptian city of Thebes

650 BC: The Known World
Our missions to spread the gospel to Germany has run into a great obstacle: We have no idea where Germany is. In fact, some scholars believe it to be a realm similar to that of where the fey march or the water-maids practice their crafts.

700 bc: The Great Wall is complete. Now barbarians will not be able to harass our cities nor ravage the developments within out borders.
Christianity has now spread to to the Inca and Celtic lands with a party headed over to Germany to spread the gospel to Bismarck

Soon after the foundation of Christianity, the Egyptians built the Temple of Artemis.

Alex.
Alex, as I knew him, was a cool guy, sure he was an asshat in highschool, but he had decided to change recently- he wanted to be a gentleman. We could talk about science fiction, and the economy and great leaders of the world and myths for hours on end. But then he had to meet with a few of his obnoxious family members. They believed that the only measure of a man’s success was the...

I think i'll start liveblogging a game of Civ 4
More specifically, Civilization 4: beyond the Sword.
I’ve been having a really big hunger for living in history lately, and this is just the ticket when you’re short on a ride to the museum and/or a time machine.

Might I recommend starting with a brief summary of Immanuel Kant?
